Located on a superb ridge of gravel, the vineyard of Château Couhins benefits from various assets conducive to the birth of great wines. The nature of the soils combining the famous gravelly pebbles with clay soils ensures both optimal ripening of the grapes through the heat captured during the day and returned overnight, while regulating the level of water resources through the terry effect of clay.
Tasting
The olfactory palette exudes the freshness of notes of stone fruits and white-fleshed fruit reminiscent of peach and pear, enhanced by the delicacy of passion fruit notes and the delicacy of floral notes. The attack on the palate seduces by the perfect balance between density of the material and freshness prolonging the pleasure of the tasting in a final of beautiful length. Region
Located in the southwest of France, Bordeaux is the single largest fine-wine-producing region in the world, with more than 15,000 growers spread over 57 appellations and more than 700 million bottles produced annually.
