Chateau de Bernon 2015
The Château de Bernon belonged historically to the Estager family for several generations. In 2004, the property was bought by a group of co-owners who operated it until 2014. In
2015, Kévin Labatut and Florent Zanetti took over the estate. They signed a lease of 25 years on this vineyard of 8.2 hectares. In 2016, the farm expands by 8 hectares. In 2018, the vineyard extends further to reach 20 hectares of red vineyards in AOC Castillon
Côtes de Bordeaux.
Tasting
A microcuvée shared between Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The delicate and complex nose plays on strawberry, cherry and floral notes, underlined by a subtle oakiness. A well-constructed wine, ample, warm and round, served by a fresh and long finish.
