Moulin de Sarpe
This shows incredible depth and density for the vintage with dark berry, dark chocolate, spice and chalk character. Full body, firm and velvety tannins and a long and powerful finish.
Tasting
Its nose evokes both black fruits and animal notes, accompanied by a touch of liquorice. The attack is supple and warm, while the tannins have melted with age. A gourmet wine.
Vignification
Vinification is traditional and modern Bordeaux style to have a nice balance. The aging is done in oak barrels to refine the tannins.
Terroir
The shallow clay-limestone soil and the star- shaped limestone subsoil are most conducive to the quality of this vintage.
